Job summary

Block Iron & Supply is seeking a skilled Welder for a full-time, first-shift role in Wisconsin. The position focuses on custom frame fabrication, including cutting, punching, welding, grinding, sanding and finishing metal frames per work orders and templates.

Experience with hollow metal frames and hardware prep is preferred. The role requires reading blueprints and tape measures, lifting up to 50 pounds (100 with assistance), and passing a pre-employment drug screen and physical.

About the Position:

Block Iron is seeking a skilled and motivated Welder to join our team. This position involves custom frame fabrication, including cutting punching, welding, grinding, sanding and finishing metal frames according to work order specifications and templates. The role also includes custom preparation of doors for hardware, light kits and glass installation. This is a hands on position ideal for someone with a strong work ethic, attention to detail and desire to produce high-quality work.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on hollow metal frame material and commercial hardware

Assemble hollow metal frames and commercial hardware per specifications

Operate tools and equipment for cutting, grinding, sanding and related fabrication processes

Ensure all work meets quality standards and project requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
