Job summary

Industrial Access, Inc. seeks experienced Welders/Millwrights to support nationwide projects in the industrial construction sector. Roles involve welding, fabrication, rigging, and multi-craft maintenance across outage environments, with extended deployments of 3–6 weeks and 60–84 hour weeks.

Starting pay is $28–$32 per hour, with overtime at 1.5x and travel/lodging paid by Industrial Access. Benefits, 401K matching, and continued training are offered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current or previous certification in 6G Stick & Mig welding (carbon steel/stainless).
• Proficient in torch cutting and fabrication.
• Strong mechanical aptitude; able to read drawings/submittals.
• Experience installing/maintaining/repairing equipment.
• Comfortable with a variety of power tools.
• Must be comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Good physical strength; able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening; background check.
• Valid driver's license with clean MVR.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fabrication, torch cutting, plasma cutting, and fitting.
• Handle rigging, climbing, heights, and confined spaces.
• Engage in maintenance, hydro-blasting, inspections, masonry and concrete repairs, painting/coatings, electrical work, insulation, and more.
• Work in outage/shutdown environments on nationwide sites.
• Travel to project sites for extended periods (3–6 weeks).

Job description

Joining Industrial Access means becoming part of a dedicated team committed to the safe and efficient maintenance of critical industrial infrastructure!

We are currently seeking experienced Welders/Millwrights to join our growing team! Work with highly skilled crews on projects nationwide while enjoying steady, long-term work and advance your skills in the Industrial Construction industry. Crews are typically mobilized for 3-6 weeks at a time and average 60-84 hours/week during deployments at client sites nationwide. We pay all Travel Expenses AND Overtime (see details below)!

Responsibilities

Projects may include rigging and climbing, hydro-blasting, NDT inspections, masonry and concrete repairs, painting/coatings, insulation, welding and electrical work. As an Industrial Access Welder/Millwright, you will:

• Perform welding, fabrication, torch cutting, plasma cutting, and fitting.
• Handle rigging, climbing, and work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Engage in general maintenance, hydro-blasting, inspections, masonry and concrete repairs, painting/coatings, electrical work, insulation, and more.
• Work in industrial outage/shutdown environments across various job sites nationwide.
• Travel to project sites for extended periods of time, typically 3-6 weeks at a time.
  
  

Ideal candidates will have experience with any of the following:

Inspections and assessments, Welding – Structural, Painting & Coatings, Steel Fabrication, FRP Maintenance, Demolition, Electrical, Concrete, Masonry, NDT – Non-Destructive Testing, Insulation & Lagging, UAV/Drone – FAA Licensed, AWL – Aviation Warning Light Systems, LPS – Lightning Protection Systems, Scaffolding – Fixed & Suspended, Rope Access – SPRAT/IRATA, Millwright, Rigging & Hoisting, Heavy Equipment Operation, Engineering

Required Skills And Experience

• Current or previous certification in 6G Stick & Mig welding (carbon steel/stainless steel)
• Proficient in torch cutting and fabrication
• Strong mechanical aptitude and capable of reading drawing submittals
• Experience installing/maintaining/repairing equipment
• Comfortable with a variety of power tools.
• MUST be comfortable working at height and within confined spaces
• Good physical strength and stamina – capable of lifting/carrying up to 75lbs.
• Able to work in extreme weather conditions
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug screening
• Must pass background check
• Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a clean MVR
