This is a great Welder position!

Welder role with competitive starting pay of $18-$19/hr.

1st shift hours starting at 5:00 AM with lots of overtime!

Welder Job Responsibilities:

• Read blueprints and drawings; take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
• Select appropriate welding equipment or methods based on requirements.
• Set up components for welding according to specifications.
• Operate grinders to prepare parts for welding.
• Align components using calipers, rulers, etc., and clamp pieces.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic equipment in various positions.
• Repair machinery and other components by welding and filling gaps.
• Test and inspect welded surfaces and structures for flaws.
• Maintain equipment in safe working condition.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in manufacturing or production environment required.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Proven ability to work safely following all safety policies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. throughout shift.
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is a plus.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Steel toe shoes are required.
