• Operate MIG/TIG welding equipment to perform basic metal, aluminum, and stainless-steel fabrication tasks.
• Grind, weld, and patch tanks and containers under supervision.
• Performing tasks include sandblasting, priming, painting, fender installation, and decal application.
• Ensure all trailers meet U.S. Department of Transportation safety standards.
• Complete tasks efficiently and according to production timelines.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas; follow all safety procedures.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and steel-toed footwear.

This position involves hands-on work in various aspects of trailer repair including welding, electrical systems, plumbing, insulation, painting, and general fabrication. While direct supervision is provided, the role requires a foundational understanding of repair techniques and adherence to safety standards.

Candidates must be physically capable of working in environments that involve heights, confined spaces, and exposure to loud noise, fumes, and dust. Work is performed under the guidance of a department supervisor.
