Job summary

EFC International is seeking a reliable Welder/Machine Operator to join our St. Elizabeth branch. The role fabricates, welds, and operates metalworking machinery to produce quality steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel components in a safety-conscious environment.

You will interpret engineering blueprints, set up machines, inspect finished parts, and maintain quality standards throughout production. 2+ years of welding/machine operation experience and MIG welding proficiency are required, with

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding and machine operation experience in a fabrication environment.
• Proficient in MIG welding and metal fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/technical documents.
• Familiar with setup, operation, and troubleshooting of metalworking machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods; safety-focused and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• MIG weld on low/medium carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
• Set up and operate machines, calibrate settings, and monitor production output.
• Inspect welds and components, verify conformance to specs, and correct defects.
• Read blueprints and layout specifications to guide fabrication.
• Record production data and maintain logs and job reports.
• Maintain clean, hazard-free work area and follow all safety procedures.
