Welder - Lead - 2nd Shift (4:00 pm-12:30 am) - $25.00/hour plus $1.00 shift differential

We are seeking a Welder - Lead for the 2nd Shift based in Cartersville, GA. Reporting to the Welding Supervisor, this role involves welding aluminum cable trays and leading a team of welders. Candidates should have at least 3 years of welding experience. Experience with lean manufacturing or business system-based companies is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and guide other welders in the department
• Set up, adjust, and operate welding machines
• Use basic fabricating tools, such as tape measures
• Interpret drawings and blueprints to fabricate products
• Ensure fabrication meets customer specifications
• Participate actively in safety programs
• Cross-train in different shop areas as needed
• Adhere to safety controls and PPE requirements

Qualifications:

• 3+ years welding experience
• Ability to read a tape measure
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred)
• Willingness to work 4:00 pm-12:30 am, Monday-Friday
• Technical School Welding Certificate (preferred)
• Physical ability to squat, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand and work a 10-hour shift in a non-climate-controlled environment
• Willing to work overtime as needed

Compensation & Benefits:
