Job Description

Propulsion Controls Engineering has multiple positions open for Welder Journeyman, with a minimum of five years marine and/or shipyard experience, supporting our San Diego, California location. PCE is a full-service electro-mechanical repair and diesel repair contractor. PCE has garnered a wealth of extensive experience in successfully executing major system overhauls across numerous ports throughout the world on virtually every class of ship currently in operation.

Job Summary:

Welder with advanced knowledge of FCAW, SMAW, GTAW, GMAW, and BRAZE and the ability to determine proper weld joint design without supervision. Basic knowledge of fittings is required. Performs other related tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements and Experience:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
  • Minimum of 5 years of marine and/or shipyard experience.
