Qualifications

Salary Range:ÂÂ

$22-30/hour USDÂ

*Final agreed upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to an individualâs related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location.Â

What you will be doing:Â

Welder is responsible for welding metal components and structures in an race shop/prototype environment. The role involves using various welding techniques to join, fabricate, and repair metal parts.Â

Responsibilities:Â

Advanced Welding & Fabrication:

  • Execute advanced welding tasks with a focus on high-performance chassis applications, employing TIG, MIG, and precision techniques across chromoly and aluminum.
  • Expertly operate and oversee advanced fabrication equipment including cutting equipment, plasma tables, precision fixtures, tube benders, and welding machines.
  • Adapt quickly to a fast-paced production environment. Flexible and ready to pivot tasks without hesitation.
  • Self-motivated individual that works well independently and in a group setting. Able to stay on task unsupervised

Quality Assurance & Compliance:

  • Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews of weld joints, structural assemblies, and component fitment, ensuring all work exceeds professional motorsport standards.
  • Troubleshoot fabrication challenges and introduce scalable solutions that balance structural performance.
  • Maintain rigorous adherence to internal safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and motorsport standards

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation:

  • Partner with engineering, R&D, and production teams to prototype, test, and refine chassis systems for competitive performance.
  • Streamline chassis fabrication processes, reduce cycle times, and introduce new welding technologies or materials.
  • Act as a key contributor in pre-production and post-race analysis to identify design or weld performance improvements.

  • This position requires prolonged standing of up to 8 hours at a time.
  • This position requires the lifting of 50 lbs. Any lifting over 50 lbs. is to be lifted with the assistance of other individuals.
  • This position requires reaching above and below the shoulders.
  • Welding helmet.
  • PPE (Steel toe shoes, safety glasses, gloves, earplugs, etc.)
