Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Pipe Welder for a 4-month project in College Station, TX. The ideal candidate will have strong TIG and Stick welding experience on carbon and stainless steel pipe and be able to pass a 6G pipe welding test according to B31.1.

Overtime is expected; there is no per diem. This on-site assignment requires safe, efficient work in a commercial/industrial environment. Pay is 35.00 per hour with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• TIG welding on carbon steel and stainless steel pipe.
• Stick welding on pipe.
• Must pass a 6G pipe welding test per B31.1 code.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Experience with pipefitting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welds carbon steel and stainless steel pipe using TIG and stick processes.
• Interprets drawings and follows fit-up specifications.
• Maintains safety and efficiency in a busy industrial environment.
