Job summary

QuickPro Staffing is seeking a Master Builder - Welder in West Chester, OH, on first shift. The role welds stainless and carbon steel components, reads blueprints, and supports fabrication teams to meet production timelines.

The position requires MIG/TIG welding experience in a manufacturing setting, ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to quality. Starting pay is $23–$25 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• Experience welding in a manufacturing or industrial fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in MIG and/or TIG welding techniques, ideally with stainless steel.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Ability to use precision measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, etc.).
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld stainless steel and carbon steel components, tanks, enclosures, and structural assemblies according to blueprints, engineering drawings, and weld specifications.
• Perform MIG and/or TIG welding on a variety of material thicknesses and gauges.
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and specifications to determine dimensions, materials, and welding sequences.
• Fit and tack-weld components prior to final welding.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications; grind and finish welds as needed.
• Operate related fabrication equipment (shears, brakes, saws) as needed to support welding tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company safety standards.
• Collaborate with fabrication, assembly, and engineering teams to ensure parts meet quality and production timelines.
