Job summary

Deshazo is seeking an experienced Welder to join our fabrication team in Texas. The role requires working with flame-cutting and hand welding equipment to weld, cut, and braze metal pieces and products.

The candidate must have AWS 3G certification or be able to complete in-house training, read blueprints and AWS weld symbols, and operate overhead cranes, rigging systems, forklifts, and drills in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints using AWS symbols and GIT tolerances.
• Understand safety regulations and PPE requirements.
• Complete a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training program.

Responsibilities

• Weld, cut, and braze metal pieces using flame-cutting and hand welding equipment.
• Read blueprints and AWS weld symbols to tolerances.
• Operate overhead cranes, rigging, forklifts, and drill presses.
• Set up and weld using MIG with flux-core wire.
• Follow safety rules; lift 45–50 lbs; work at high production rate.
• Level and square parts while tacking into place.
• Maintain and repair welding machines.
