Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years welding and fabrication experience.
• Must be able to pass welding certification tests and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication and welding as required for pressure vessels and structural assemblies.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Maintain high standards for quality and safety in welding processes.

Skills

Strong welding background with carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys

Ability to perform 6G welds using GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes

Experience producing X-ray quality welds

Skilled in reading and interpreting complex drawings and weld symbols

Ability to fit and fabricate weldments

Comfortable with pressure vessel or structural fabrication environments

Comfortable with transitioning between different projects

Pay: $25.00–$33.00 hour depending on experience

Hours: Full-Time | Monday–Thursday

Express Employment Professionals is seeking experienced Welders for a full-time opportunity in Colorado Springs. This is a high-skill fabrication role working with pressure vessels, structural assemblies, and complex weldments.

What We Look For In Welder II/III Candidates

• Strong welding background with carbon steel, stainless steel, and nickel alloys
• Ability to perform 6G welds using GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes
• Experience producing X-ray quality welds
• Skilled in reading and interpreting complex drawings and weld symbols
• Ability to fit and fabricate weldments with consideration for heat, shrinkage, and tolerances
• Comfortable with pressure vessel or structural fabrication environments
• Comfortable with transitioning between different projects
  
  

Testing Requirements

• Shop Math Test and Weld Symbology Test
• Weld Tests:
• 6G GMAW Downhill
• 6G FCAW Uphill
• 6G GTAW
