Job summary

Generac is seeking qualified welders in Colorado to join a 3rd shift team. The role involves Mig, aluminum, and TIG welding, as well as operating robotic welders to assemble high-quality products. You will interpret drawings, follow procedures, and collaborate with teammates to meet production goals.

The position requires a high school diploma or certification, basic welding experience, and the ability to perform well in a safety-conscious environment. Training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or Certification required.
• Internal weld test will be administered.
• Understanding of welding fundamentals and safe work practices.
• Basic welding experience and/or training in Mig welding.

Job Description

Welders are expected to perform Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform Mig welding, Aluminum welding, TIG Welding, electric or robotic welding in the fabrication of parts, to be used in the assembly of product lines to create a high quality finished product. Components may be standardized or customized as to design and function.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the company/site safety rules.
• Perform safe and effective operation of all equipment needed to perform job function.
• Flex across different products and areas to support business needs.
• Provide training to new employees or employees learning new work areas to work instructions/standard work.
• Follow established procedures, processes, or policies.
• Interpret and understand engineering drawings and blueprints to accurately execute welding tasks.
• Assist with robotic welder.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or Certification.
• Internal written and physical weld test.
• An understanding of welding fundamentals.
• Basic welding experience and/or training.
• Basic knowledge of Mig Welding Equipment.
• Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment.
