Join to apply for the Welder II - 1st Shift role at Cadrex Manufacturing Solutions.

Cadrex is searching for a Welder II to use manual welding skills to manufacture weldments according to defined specifications, workmanship standards, and production schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set up tools and equipment for welding jobs.
  • Arrange parts for welding and staging processes.
  • Perform quality inspections and document results.
  • Detect and report defective materials or conditions.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Read and understand instructions, drawings, and welding symbols.
  • Ensure site efficiency and safety standards.
  • Demonstrate continuous improvement in safety and quality.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned by the Lead.
  • Work independently and troubleshoot issues.
  • Cross-train in multiple workstations.
Requirements
  • 1+ years in metal manufacturing preferred.
  • Pass AWS certifications for MIG welding of steel and aluminum.
  • Basic understanding of welding symbols, print tolerances, and measurement equipment.
  • Meet or exceed quality standards.
  • Maintain weld certifications in multiple processes.
  • Ability to interpret prints and work orders.
  • Strong mathematical and comprehension skills.

  • High School Diploma required.

Schedule
  • Monday-Thursday; 6:00am-4:30pm

Work Environment & Physical Demands
