Job summary

McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Inc., part of Oshkosh Corporation, is seeking a Welder to operate welding equipment and build parts across production lines. The role includes welding in various positions, using a robot welder, and reading blueprints to meet quality targets.

Pay ranges from $22 to $29.12 per hour, with opportunities to train others, work with safety standards, and support repeated rework when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year welding experience or equivalent.
• Must pass a weld test (pre-employment or internal program).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to train others on three weld stations and maintain low defects.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment to build parts, subassemblies and finished products across production lines.
• Weld using flat, vertical, overhead positions and rework as needed.
• Move parts with an overhead crane and set weld configurations by reading measurements.
• Operate robot/tube welder and work across weld stations; start-up and troubleshoot.
• Follow blueprints and ensure quality and safety standards.
