Job summary

Oshkosh Corporation’s McNeilus division is seeking a welder in Dodge Center, MN to operate welding equipment and build high quality parts across multiple production lines. The role includes welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions and reworking products as needed.

You will read blueprints, set up for different welds, and maintain safety and quality across shifts at our Dodge Center facility.

Qualifications

• One year of welding experience or an evaluated equivalent.
• Must pass weld test either through pre-employment or internal program.
• Able to weld in flat, vertical, overhead positions and rework as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment to build high quality parts and subassemblies.
• Weld and rework products across multiple lines and stations.
• Read blueprints and accurately measure parts.
• Operate overhead crane and robot/tube welder; troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment following 6S standards.
