Job summary

Global Finishing Solutions LLC is seeking a Welder II in Wisconsin to operate MIG (and occasional TIG) welding equipment, read blueprints with precision, and assemble structural parts that fit perfectly on the first pass. You will use grinders, drills, shears, and plasma cutters to bring designs to life, with a focus on producing watertight welds and reliable components for finishing systems.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • AWS D1.1 welding certificate.
  • 2–4 years welding experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and a team-first attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Operate MIG welding equipment (and occasional TIG) to create strong, high-quality components.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and tape measures with precision (down to 1/32”) to assemble structural parts that fit right the first time.
  • Weld sheet metal and water-tight tanks meeting exacting standards.
  • Position weld-ons and beam pads accurately, ensuring detail-driven results.
  • Use shop tools (grinders, drills, shears, plasma cutters) to realize designs, and perform quality checks.

  • Confidently stitch sheet metal and weld water-tight tanks that meet exacting standards.

  • Use a variety of shop tools—including grinders, drills, shears, and plasma cutters—to bring designs to life.

Transparent Rewards

At GFS, we recognize the dedication behind every role and ensure that our compensation reflects both your impact and our shared success.

Pay Range: $23.81 – $28.10 per hour, based on your experience, skills, and qualifications. For 2nd shift there is a $3.00 per hour shift differential.

Bonus Eligibility: This position is eligible for an annual individual incentive based on company performance. Maximum bonus amounts may vary depending on role.

Benefits: Eligible for standard company benefits, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan with company match, paid time off, and other employee programs. More detailed information is available at 2026 GFS Benefits .

Actual compensation will be determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, skill level, and market conditions. For remote or hybrid positions, the listed pay range applies to applicants in the specified location.
