Job summary

Dover Food Retail is seeking a Repair & Maintenance Welding technician for on-site work. You will repair and maintain equipment, structures, and ductwork, using arc and gas welding tools to ensure safety and reliability on the production floor.

The role requires basic knowledge of welding procedures and may require vocational or technical education. Pay ranges from USD 24.00 to 26.00 per hour, with potential performance-based commissions.

Maintaining and repairing manufacturing production equipment, structures, pipe systems, and ductwork. Inspecting existing weldments to identify areas of weakness. May also use welding equipment to perform metal cutting/trimming work or fabricate simple fixtures. A Support 2 requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Responsibilities typically include: Works under moderate supervision.. Problems are typically of a routine nature, but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures.. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation. Pay Range: USD 24.00 - 26.00 Hourly This position is eligible to earn commissions based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable commissions plan.
