Job summary

Lennox in the United States is seeking an entry-level welder to join our manufacturing team. Under direct supervision, you will spot weld, fabricate and assemble metal components using welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools.

You will read diagrams and blueprints to plan operations, set up and maintain welding equipment, and handle objects up to 75 pounds. The role is hourly non-exempt with competitive starting pay and benefits.

What Drives Success

Under direct supervision, spot welds together metal components.

Fabricates and assemble metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, shapers and measuring tools. Produce metal products according to specifications. Read and interpret diagrams, sketches and blueprints to determine operations, required materials and timeframes for projects. Set up, operate and maintain welding equipment.

What We Are Looking For

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic ability to read engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations. Requires precision control and dexterity. Able to move objects weighing up to 75 pounds.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $20.00/hour. Factors that may affect starting pay include geography/market, and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
