Job summary

Senior Metal Bellows in Sharon, MA is seeking an entry-level manufacturing/quality technician. You will work from drawings and documented work instructions to produce components to spec. You’ll make standard set-ups, adjust as needed, and submit questionable settings to a supervisor.

You’ll inspect parts with basic gauges and maintain quality using SPC. We train you for the role, offer a convenient location off Route 95, and provide a positive, collaborative environment focused on quality and

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in manufacturing or quality preferred, but not necessary - we’ll train you!

Responsibilities

• Work from drawings and documented work instructions.
• Make standard set-ups and maintain operating conditions as prescribed, submitting questionable settings to appropriate supervisor or technical leader.
• Maintain required quality and productivity levels, making minor machine and tooling adjustments to comply with requirements.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, verniers, and leak check equipment; visually inspect welds and forward parts for dimensional checks when required.
• Ensure quality using quantitative charting techniques, including SPC.
• Basic computer knowledge to perform labor transactions and required functions.
