Job summary

Rite-Hite is seeking a Welder 1 to layout fabrications, tack weld parts, and weld components to customer specifications with the highest quality. You will maintain a clean, safe work area and collaborate with supervision to improve products and processes.

The role requires basic blueprint interpretation, metal welding, and the use of GMAW equipment, plasma cutting, and oxyfuel torches. Opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic in all units of measure including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to apply practical problem solving to fabrication challenges.

Responsibilities

• Layout fabrications and tack-weld components to spec.
• Operate within JD Edwards for daily production tasks.
• Fit and weld metal components using blueprints and plans.
