Job summary

Rite-Hite is seeking a Welder 1 to layout fabrications, tack weld, and weld components to customer specifications with high quality. The role focuses on safety, cleanliness, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting.

You will read blueprints, set up GMAW equipment, and perform welds using plasma or oxyfuel torches, while maintaining a safe work environment and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld specifications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Operate within JD Edwards to perform daily production tasks.
• Utilize blueprints to fit and weld metal components.
• Set up and adjust GMAW equipment for quality welds.
• Use plasma and oxyfuel cutting torches.
• Comply with quality control procedures and logs.
