Paragon Medical is seeking a skilled welder to join our manufacturing team in Corona, CA. You will perform welding using GTAW, PAW, and resistance methods, interpret blueprints, and assemble metal parts to precise specifications.

Responsibilities include quality inspection, equipment setup, material selection, and maintaining a safe work environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of welding experience, and preferably a welding certification.

• Basic welding knowledge and ability to operate GTAW, PAW and resistance welders.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity for long shifts.
• Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Perform welding tasks using GTAW, PAW and resistance welding methods.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy.
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts per instructions.
• Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with specs.
• Set up welding equipment and maintain tools in safe condition.
• Select appropriate welding materials and consumables for each job.
• Operate basic hand and power tools for preparation and finishing tasks.
• Maintain inventory of welding materials and report shortages.
• Follow safety policies, OSHA regulations and PPE requirements.
• Identify hazards and report unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Participate in safety training and maintain welding certifications.
• Maintain accurate records of work, materials used, and progress.
• Report completed work and any issues to supervisors promptly.
• Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and production team members.
• Assist higher-level welders or technicians on complex tasks.
• Communicate progress and challenges to supervisors.
