Job summary

Expand Energy's affiliate Compass Manufacturing is seeking a Welder I - ASME Code Vessel Welder to join our fabrication team. This position is responsible for the fabrication and welding of ASME code pressure vessels and related equipment while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Reading blueprints, interpreting customer specifications, and collaborating with supervisors, inspectors, and fellow fabricators are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent substitution with 4–6 years related experience.
• Ability to fabricate and weld ASME code pressure vessels.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand customer specs.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld ASME code pressure vessels and related components.
• Produce code-compliant vessels meeting quality and production requirements.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment per safety policies.
• Collaborate with supervisors, inspectors, fitters, and fabricators to meet goals.
• Demonstrated experience welding ASME code pressure vessels.

Job Summary

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld ASME code pressure vessels and related components
• Produce code-compliant vessels that meet quality and production requirements
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment while following all company safety policies and procedures
• Work effectively with supervisors, inspectors, fitters, and fellow fabricators to meet production goals
• Demonstrated experience welding ASME code pressure vessels

Schedule

Monday through Thursday 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM - some overtime may be required based on production demands

Education & Experience
