The role focuses on welding metal components to meet specifications, operating hand-welding equipment, and performing quality checks. What We Offer

• SIGN ON BONUS!! - $1500 Sign-on bonus for Welders (with 6 mo. or greater previous equivalent production weld experience). Applicants Eligible for offers given 8/14/26 and after with candidate starting work at Jtec on or prior to 9/14/26!
• $21.00 - $28.00 per hour dependent on experience + $2.50 (2nd shift differential) OR $5.00 (3rd shift differential)

About The Role

The Welder I position is responsible for welding metal components using hand‑welding equipment and ensuring weld quality meets specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
• Inspect and verify parts for accuracy
• Maintain consistent, high-quality welds
• Meet hourly and job‑based weld output goals
• Use common welding hand and power tools

Qualifications

Working Conditions

• Industrial fabrication environment
• Exposure to weld fumes, noise, and heat
• Standing, lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, and reaching required
• Full‑time, 40 hrs/week with possible overtime
