Marion Body Works is seeking a Welder 1 to join our manufacturing team in Marion, WI. You will assemble finished goods, weld in all positions, and ensure quality and documentation meet standards.

Responsibilities include operating MIG welding equipment, maintaining arc control, and using grinders for finishing. Ideal candidates have related experience and a High School Diploma or GED, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Prefer manufacturing experience and welding experience.
• Prefer High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assemble finished goods.
• Mount trays, shelves, tool boards and doors.
• Weld with clean lines and cuts.
• Operate welding units and deposit metal to join edges.
• Maintain arc length and speed for specified fusion/bead.
• Weld in flat, vertical and horizontal positions.
• Inspect welds for bead size and specifications.
• Position and clamp work pieces; tack/mig weld as needed.
• Support safety policies and environmental/quality standards.
