We are seeking a dedicated Welder Helper to assist our skilled welders in fabricating metal structures and assemblies. This entry-level position is crucial for supporting our projects and ensuring efficient operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the setup and operation of welding equipment under the guidance of experienced welders.
  • Support the welding process by preparing materials, handling tools, and maintaining equipment.
  • Read and understand job specifications, blueprints, and mechanical drawings.
  • Perform tasks such as grinding, cutting, and preparing surfaces for welding.
  • Follow all safety protocols and assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Qualifications:

  • GED or high school diploma required; additional technical training in welding is .
  • Basic understanding of mechanical drawings and familiarity with welding equipment.
  • Ability to perform measurements and adjustments with tools such as weld gages, tape measures, and protractors.
