Job summary

DZ Grinders LLC is seeking a Welder to join our Caldwell, Idaho team. You will read plans, measure materials, set welding parameters, and weld components to precise specifications, while following safety policies and operating lifting equipment as needed.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the capability to work extended shifts if required. Training on bearings, bushings, and sheaves will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Reads instructions or plans and measures materials.
• Follows manufacturer specifications for installation tasks.
• Maintains PPE and safety procedures per policy.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect tools and equipment for safety at shift start.
• Learn to install bearings, bushings, and sheaves per specs.
• Learn to operate hydraulic cylinders and lifts safely.
• Set temperatures and gas gauges on welding equipment.
• Read instructions or plans, measure, hold, and position materials.
• Fit metal parts according to plans.
• Operate an overhead crane to position heavy materials.
• Weld seams with proper techniques for the job.
• Operate grinders to remove rough edges and excess welds.
• Maintain and use PPE as outlined in safety manual.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
