Job summary

Lexicon in Kentucky is seeking a Welder to fuse fabricated components into robust structural forms with safety at the forefront. You will interpret welding symbols, read structural drawings, and travel to worksites to support shutdowns.

The role requires precision, adherence to QA/QC and OSHA standards, and a readiness to work overtime in a dynamic environment. The position offers $20-$26/hr with weekly pay, comprehensive benefits (health, dental, vision, life insurance, HSA), and growth

Qualifications

Minimum of 1-2 years' welding experience.
Must read and comprehend welding symbols and instructions.
Must be able to read and understand structural drawings.
Must be able to pass a tape measure test.
Must pass an unlimited thickness groove plate test in FCAW.
Must be able to carbon arc gouge the back side of butt joints.

Responsibilities

Receive and understand welding symbols and select proper welding material for finishing, fitting, painting and shipping.
Locate pieces approved by Quality Control for welding; gather equipment to complete the job.
Clean welded pieces for the next processing stage.
Adhere to all safety and QA/QC programs and OSHA regulations.
Travel to various locations, potentially including other states, to support shutdowns.
Work overtime and maintain punctual attendance; perform non-essential tasks as needed.
