Job summary

Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is seeking a skilled Welder for Fabrication Door Specialist to inspect, service, install, and repair commercial doors with precision. You will work in a fast-paced environment, apply basic math, read instructions, and maintain a strong focus on safety and quality while delivering excellent customer service to project teams and contractors across the region.

This full-time role reports to the Operations Manager and offers competitive pay and comprehensive

• Experience with commercial doors, frames, or hardware preferred.
• Minimum 2-year experience in a fast paced, technical environment.
• Able to read and understand instructions and manuals.

At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), we are seeking a skilled WELDER for Fabrication Door Specialist to inspect, service, install, and repair commercial doors with precision and professionalism. This role requires technical know-how, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to top-tier customer service. Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Focus & Product Quality
  • Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services
  • Maintain a full understanding of all products
  • Perform small projects as directed by Management
• Technical Knowledge
  • Maintain a full understanding of all products and a basic knowledge of equipment to identify needed repairs
  • Read and understand instructions and procedure manuals
  • Accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math skills
• Miscellaneous
  • Support our values in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Able to work in a diverse, fast paced, technology-driven environment
• Must be reliable and be detail oriented

• Experience with commercial doors, frames, or hardware preferred
• High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training
• Minimum 2-year experience in fast paced, technical, and related industry position
