Foundation Building Materials (FBM) is seeking a skilled Fabrication Door Specialist to inspect, service, install, and repair commercial doors with precision. This full-time role requires basic math, tape measure accuracy, and comfort with hand and power tools.

The successful candidate will work under the Branch Manager, support product quality, and contribute to safety and customer-focused service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or related technical field.
• Experience with commercial doors, frames, hardware, or similar products preferred.
• Able to read a tape measure, take accurate measurements, and perform basic math.
• Comfortable using hand and power tools and equipment.

At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), we are seeking a skilled Fabrication Door Specialist to inspect, service, install, and repair commercial doors with precision and professionalism. This role requires technical know-how, strong problem‑solving skills, and a commitment to top-tier customer service. Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Focus & Product Quality
  • Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services
  • Maintain a full understanding of all products
  • Perform small projects as directed by Management
• Technical Knowledge
  • Maintain a full understanding of all products and a basic knowledge of equipment to identify needed repairs
  • Read and understand instructions and procedure manuals
  • Accurately read a tape measure and perform basic math skills
• Miscellaneous
  • Support our values in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and being a Company of Choice for both employees and customers
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Able to work in a diverse, fast paced, technology-driven environment
• 2+ years of experience in fabrication, manufacturing, construction, or a related technical field
• Experience with commercial doors, frames, hardware, or similar products preferred
• Comfortable using hand and power tools and basic equipment
• Able to read a tape measure, take accurate measurements, and perform basic math
• Able to read and follow work instructions and technical specifications
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
