Equiliem is seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our fabrication team in Export, PA. The role involves fitting, welding, and assembling carbon steel and stainless steel components per drawings and AWS symbols.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints, fabrication drawings, and AWS welding symbols.
• Experience welding carbon steel and stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Fit and weld carbon steel and stainless steel components according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and AWS welding symbols.
• Position, align, clamp, and secure parts using fixtures and jigs.
• Perform vertical, overhead, and specialized welds while maintaining quality and safety.
• Inspect, clean, and finish welds to ensure compliance.
• Operate basic manual lathes and assist with general fabrication activities.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
• Assist with material handling, rigging, and crane operations when required.
