Job summary

HB Rentals in Broussard, LA is seeking a Welder/Fitter with 6GR welding experience to join our fabrication team. You will read blueprints and lay out components, weld with MIG/TIG/arc processes, and assemble parts in a busy shop environment.

The role requires the ability to operate a forklift/overhead crane, maintain safety standards, and support repairs on existing equipment. Competitive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination.
• Qualified to 6GR Welder Certification or equivalent.
• Physically able to perform duties including standing, bending, and heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints/drawings to plan welds.
• Fabricate and repair equipment using Mig or TiG welding and arc welding.
• Assemble parts by bolting and welding as required.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of workshop and equipment.
• Perform on-call service as required.
