Liberty Mechanical is seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will weld, assemble, and fit piping systems according to drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.

Strong welding and fabrication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential for producing high-quality work. The role offers hourly pay ranging from $25 to $36, a 40-hour work week, and benefits such as life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) match, periodic pay, and paid

Qualificações

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols.
• Proficient in pipe welding and welding procedures.
• Ability to read piping drawings and use measuring tools safely.
• Capable of working with carbon steel, stainless, and other piping materials.
• Work independently and as part of a team with attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols.
• Measure, cut, fit, align, and prepare pipe for welding.
• Perform pipe welding using SMAW, GTAW, FCAW as required.
• Set up and operate welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders, and other tools.
• Inspect welds and fittings to meet quality and project specs.
• Maintain weld profiles, dimensions, and tolerances.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.

Liberty Mechanical is seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding, assembling, and fitting piping systems according to drawings, specifications, and safety requirements. The ideal candidate has strong welding and fabrication skills, pays close attention to detail, and is a team player committed to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, isometric drawings, and welding symbols
• Measure, cut, fit, align, and prepare pipe and piping components for welding
• Perform pipe welding using applicable welding processes, including SMAW, GTAW, and/or FCAW as required
• Set up and operate welding machines, cutting equipment, grinders, and other fabrication tools
• Inspect completed welds and fittings to ensure they meet quality and project specifications
• Work with carbon steel
• Work with stainless and other piping materials preferred
• Work with grease duct preferred
• Maintain proper weld profiles, dimensions, and tolerances
• Follow all company, OSHA, and project-specific safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work effectively with other welders, fitters, supervisors, and project personnel
• Complete work efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a pipe welder/fitter or in a similar industrial fabrication position
• Ability to read and understand piping drawings and isometric diagrams
• Proficiency with applicable pipe welding processes
• Ability to use measuring tools and hand/power tools safely
• Strong understanding of pipe fit-up, alignment, and welding procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in industrial environments and meet physical demands of the position
• Welding certifications are preferred

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods
• Ability to lift and handle materials and equipment
• Ability to work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and varying environmental conditions when required
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
