Job summary

ACI Building Systems, LLC is seeking a Welder-Fitter to join our team in Batesville, MS. The role involves welding and fitting steel frames, performing MIG welding, and contributing to high-quality building components.

Safety and proper device usage are emphasized within a dynamic production environment. Ideal candidates will have MIG welding experience, familiarity with plasma torches and oxy acetylene cutting, and an openness to welding procedures and on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• MIG welding experience preferred.
• Experience with plasma torches and oxy acetylene cutting is a plus.
• Welding certifications beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform skilled welding in the fabrication of steel frames and building components.
• Maintain proper housekeeping of the assigned work area.

ACI Building Systems, LLC. is seeking a Welder-Fitter to join our growing team. The Welder-Fitter assists in the fabrication of steel frames and building components. Ability to MIG weld and fit are a plus.

Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To:

• scrapers, 7” grinders, welding hood and gouger for tools used
• Safely perform skilled welding in the fabrication of steel frames and building components
• Maintain proper housekeeping of assigned work area
• Must always have a high awareness for safety
• Any other duties assigned
• Must train on company policies and procedures
• Must follow welding procedures

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Familiar/fluent in MIG processes
• Previous experience with plasma torches & oxy acetylene cutting a plus
• Welding certifications beneficial but not required

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 75lbs., bend, squat, kneel and or stand for extended periods of time
• Must wear proper safety equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Knowledge of basic math (add, subtract, multiply & divide fractions)
