Job summary

ACI Building Systems, LLC. is seeking a Welder-Fitter to join our team. The Welder-Fitter assists in the fabrication of steel frames and building components. Ability to MIG weld and fit are a plus.

This safety-sensitive role requires lifting up to 75 lbs, reading tape measures, and following welding procedures to ensure quality and safety on the shop floor. Candidates should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with emphasis on craftsmanship and safety.

Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math operations.
• Experience with MIG welding and fabricating steel components.
• Must maintain safety and housekeeping in the work area.

ACI Building Systems, LLC. is seeking a Welder-Fitter to join our growing team. The Welder-Fitter assists in the fabrication of steel frames and building components. Ability to MIG weld and fit are a plus.

Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To:

• scrapers, 7” grinders, welding hood and gouger for tools used
• Safely perform skilled welding in the fabrication of steel frames and building components
• Maintain proper housekeeping of assigned work area
• Must always have a high awareness for safety
• Any other duties assigned
• Must train on company policies and procedures
• Must follow welding procedures

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Familiar/fluent in MIG processes
• Previous experience with plasma torches & oxy acetylene cutting a plus
• Welding certifications beneficial but not required

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 75lbs., bend, squat, kneel and or stand for extended periods of time
• Must wear proper safety equipment
• Ability to read a tape measure
• Knowledge of basic math (add, subtract, multiply & divide fractions)
