Job summary

Kadant Black Clawson LLC in Lebanon, OH is seeking a Welder for the first shift (T-F 6 AM to 4:30 PM) to assemble and weld components per blueprints and instructions, using TIG, Flux Core, MIG, and Stick processes. You will verify part readiness and ensure welds meet specifications while maintaining equipment and the work area.

Requirements include high school diploma or GED, ASME 9 and AWS D1.1 certifications or equivalent, plus at least three years of MIG/TIG/Flux core welding experience.

Qualifications

• Must have ASME 9 and AWS D1.1 certifications on Stainless and Carbon Steel.
• Three years welding experience MIG, TIG and Flux core.
• High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welds components per blueprints and instructions using TIG, Flux Core, MIG, and Stick to specified tolerances.
• Verifies components are prepared and braced for welding per the process.
• Operates brake press, hydraulic presses, drill press, and hydraulic rollers.
• Maintains, organizes, and cleans equipment and work area.
• Accurately records job transactions and router hours.
• Abides by KBC policies with emphasis on attendance and safety.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
