Responsibilities

As an Arrow welder/fabricator working in our large shop, you will perform welding service, maintenance, and repair of tractors, trailers, and mobile equipment using state of the art shop equipment.

• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and welding process specifications
• Operate welding equipment and manual flame-cutting equipment
• Conduct repairs, modifications, and retrofits
• Maintain a working knowledge of changes in welding compliance, practices, and techniques
• Maintain safe working conditions and adhere to Occupational Health and Safety regulations

You Possess

• Certification as a Welder and Fabricator (e.g., Red Seal)
• Experience with repair of commercial trailers
• Aluminum welding experience is required
• Mechanic experience is preferred
• Strong knowledge and skill in operating all welding machinery, ability to weld according to pre-set parameters using MIG, ARC, and TIG welding processes
• A positive attitude
• Strong safety mindset
• Solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
• Ability to deal with people tactfully and professionally at all times
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
• At least two job references
