Job summary

Cohen Recycling in Miamisburg, OH is seeking a Welder Fabricator to repair machinery and fabricate metal structures. You will weld using MIG and Stick processes, cut and shape components, and operate press brakes and drill presses while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires 2+ years of welding experience, blueprints reading ability, and proficiency with heavy machinery. A valid driver’s license and AWS certification are a plus.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of welding and metal fabrication experience.
• Knowledge of MIG, Stick, and Oxy-Acetylene welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Proficient with fabrication tools and heavy machinery; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld metal parts using MIG and Stick welding.
• Cut, shape, and assemble metal components with saws, torches, shears, and grinders.
• Set up and operate fabrication machinery such as press brakes and drill presses.
• Inspect and test welds for quality with appropriate tools.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment.
• Follow safety procedures and wear PPE at all times.
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to meet project goals.
• Repair or modify existing metal components and structures as needed.
