Job summary

Cannonball Recruiting is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator. The ideal candidate will fabricate, assemble, and weld structural steel components according to blueprints and shop drawings. This role demands attention to detail, knowledge of fabrication processes, and proficiency with hand and power tools.

The position offers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift options with pay ranging from $20 to $30 per hour. Experience with MIG/Flux Core welding and blueprint reading is required; TIG/Stick is a plus, and

Qualifications

• Experience in structural steel fabrication or a related field.
• Proficiency in MIG and/or Flux Core welding; TIG, and Stick welding is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
• Familiarity with steel fabrication tools and machinery.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Cut, shape, and assemble steel components using saws, torches, and welding equipment.
• Operate machinery such as shears, press brakes, and drill presses.
• Weld and fit structural steel according to project requirements.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
• Follow company safety protocols and industry standards.
