Job description

Position Summary:

Work directly with shop Foremen to cut, prepare, fit up, and weld fabrications in company Welding Shops. Utilize SMAW, GTAW, and GMAW processes to produce acceptable welds according to specified WPS and acceptance criteria. Record weld and As-Built information as required.

Hiring Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED; or equivalent technical training.
  • 0-2 years of applicable experience with basic knowledge of welding and cutting processes.
  • Ability to obtain appropriate welding certifications and MA Hoisting License within the supervisor-assigned timeline.
  • Ability to obtain a MA Hoisting License within 6 months from date of hire.
  • Ability to obtain a CDL Class A or B within two years from date of hire.
  • OSHA 10 Construction Certification, or ability to obtain during pre-employment (company-provided online training).
  • Must maintain a valid Driver's license, obtain and maintain a DOT medical card, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
