Job summary

ALMACO is seeking Welder Fabricators in Nevada, IA. You will fabricate metal sub-assemblies for ALMACO combines and planters, at your own bench, with 40-50+ hours per week and flexible hours after training.

Ideal candidates read prints, lay out work, and perform MIG/TIG welding using a variety of hand and power tools. The role offers a friendly, family-style environment with overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience with welding and fabricating using MIG and TIG.
• Experience reading blueprints and building equipment.
• A record of dependability and cooperation in previous work environments.
• Ability to effectively operate a wide range of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Construct metal sub-assemblies by bench welding and fabrication.
• Read prints, drawings, work orders to plan and lay out work.
• Use hand and power tools to prepare metals.
• Clean and grind welds to prepare material for assembly.
