Monroechamber in Merrill, WI seeks a Welder / Fabricator skilled in MIG and Flux-core welding to join our family-owned shop. You will read blueprints, lay out and assemble components, and inspect welds to ensure top-quality results.

The role offers a 4-day workweek with shifts 1st or 2nd, hours 5:00am-3:30pm or 3:30pm-2:00am, and competitive hourly pay of $23.00-$28.00. Join a company with 60+ years of industry excellence and grow through a clear career path.

Qualifications

• MIG and Flux-core welding experience required.
• Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of weld quality standards and discontinuities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and Flux-core welding on custom fabrication projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Layout, fit, and assemble fabricated components.
• Inspect welds for quality and identify defects.
• Work safely and efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule.
