Job summary

Schaefer's Electrical Enclosures, Inc. in Scott City, MO is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to construct, weld, and assemble metal components for our rugged, high-quality enclosures.

The ideal candidate is safety-minded, quality-focused, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced production setting. You will weld various metals, follow SOPs, inspect for defects, prepare parts for the next step, and keep work areas clean.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of MIG and/or TIG welding experience with aluminum or stainless steel preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to weld multiple materials and thicknesses
• Ability to set up and adjust welding equipment as required
• Ability to read and interpret a tape measure and perform basic math and decimal-to-fraction conversions
• Able to follow directions and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated; able to complete paperwork accurately

Responsibilities
