Job summary

Morrison Industries is seeking dependable Welder / Fabricator to join a team building custom material handling equipment for automotive, aerospace, agriculture, transportation, and emerging technology industries.

This role involves MIG welding, fabricating racks, pallets, carts, and containers, and ensuring quality workmanship. You’ll operate grinders, band saws, drill presses and other shop tools, verify dimensions, and maintain safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

  • Previous MIG welding experience required.
  • Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MIG welding on carbon steel components.
  • Fabricate and assemble custom metal products to customer specifications.
  • Operate fabrication equipment including grinders, band saws, drill presses, and other shop tools.
  • Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and quality.
  • Perform visual inspections to ensure weld quality and product accuracy.
  • Work safely while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations.

Welder / Fabricator

What You'll Do

  • Perform MIG welding on carbon steel components.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two or more years of welding and fabrication experience.
  • Experience with material handling equipment, racks, pallets, or structural steel fabrication.
  • Forklift experience (or willingness to become certified).
