Job summary

Delta Sonic is seeking a skilled fabricator/welder to fabricate equipment for the car wash and detail shop. The role involves cutting, drilling, punching, welding and plasma cutting using various metals, with a 7:00 AM–4:00 PM weekday schedule and potential overtime.

Candidates should be comfortable in all weather conditions and lifting heavy loads. Ideal applicants will have MIG/TIG welding experience, the ability to read blueprints, and a history as a fabricator/welder.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot problems.
• Ability to work independently and as a team on assigned tasks with urgency.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions, indoors and outdoors, in extreme temperatures.
• Ability to frequently lift heavy weights and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate equipment for the car wash and detail shop, including cutting, drilling, punching, welding and plasma cutting.
• Work with aluminum, stainless steel and carbon steel; maintain safety standards.
• Support Monday–Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with potential overtime.

Responsibilities:

This individual will primarily be responsible for fabricating equipment for the car wash and detail shop. This includes cutting, drilling, punching, welding, plasma cutting, using aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel. Flexible availability is needed for Monday through Friday i.e. 7:00AM to 4:00PM, with potential overtime. The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending upon experience.

Requirements:

• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot problems
• Ability to work independently and as a team player on assigned tasks with a sense of urgency
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions, both indoor and outdoor environments, and extreme temperature conditions
• Ability to frequently lift heavy amounts of weight, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Ability to walk, stand and bend for long periods of time, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of MIG/TIG welding
• Proven experience as a Fabricator/Welder
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
