Job summary

Eaton Sales & Service in Salt Lake City is seeking welders for ASME Pressure Vessel manufacturing. You will be tested on 3G vertical up welds with GMAW .052 wire, with visual inspection and X-ray as part of the process. After successful testing, pay starts at $24.00 per hour, rising to $25.00 per hour.

Expect 40 hours per week in a full-time, in-person role. Applicants should have pulse MIG welding experience and be able to read blueprints; grinding, TIG welding, layout, and fit-up on round

Qualifications

• Tester should bring their own gear prepared to take a welding test (hood, gloves, jacket/sleeves).
• Safety glasses and ear plugs provided on arrival.
• Weld test on 1/2" plate vertical up pulse MIG hard wire .052 wire; includes visual inspection and X-ray.

Welders needed for our Salt Lake City Branch:

ASME Pressure Vessel Manufacturing

Must be able to pass 3G vertical up weld test using a GMAW process.

Blueprint reading helpful but not required.

Welder testing and requirements:

Testers should bring their own gear prepared to take a welding test I.E., welding hood, welding gloves, welding jacket/welding sleeves.

We will supply safety glasses and ear plugs on arrival.

Weld test is on ½” plate vertical up pulse mig hard wire .052 wire once test is complete.

• Visual inspection
• X-ray

If it passes, we will start them at 24.00 dollars per hour.
