Job summary

Invio Automation in Michigan is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to read blueprints and weld parts to close tolerances, delivering precise components for our automation systems.

You will weld Aluminum, Stainless, Tool steels using MIG (GMAW) and TIG (TGAW), braze and silver solder, and build jigs and fixtures for welding setups. Strong teamwork and reliability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Welding experience with minimum 3 years.
• Ability to read blueprints and rough drafts.
• Experience welding Aluminum, Stainless, Tool steels; MIG and TIG welding.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and build, weld parts to close tolerances.
• Weld Aluminum, Stainless, Tool steels using MIG (GMAW) and TIG (TGAW).
• Brazing, silver solder, cutting and gas welding skills.
• Build jigs and fixtures for welding setups.
• Follow supervisor instructions with minimal supervision and provide basic hand tools and equipment.
• Perform other shop duties as assigned.

DESCRIPTION

A Welder/Fabricator must be able to read and understand blueprints and build and weld details and parts. Our goal is not to meet expectations. Our goal is to exceed expectations and ensure our customers receive an exceptional product at Invio Automation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be reliable and work well with others.
• Must be willing to learn and advance individual skills. Follow instructions given by supervisor quickly and efficiently with minimum supervision. Provide basic hand tools and equipment needed to build, weld, and inspect your work.
• Able to read and understand blueprints, rough drafts (sketches).
• Able to build and weld details and parts to close tolerances.
• Be able to weld, Aluminum, Stainless, Tool steels, Hot and cold rolled steels.
• Braze, silver solder, cutting & other Gas welding Skills Required.
• Proficient Mig (GMAW), and Tig (TGAW)
• Build Jigs and fixtures for welding setups.
• Able to perform other shop duties required by the company. (i.e.: maintenance, cleaning.)
• Other duties as assigned
