Overview

M&M Recycling is looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our Locust Grove team. This position plays a key role in maintaining and repairing heavy industrial equipment used in our scrap metal operations. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, self-motivated, and experienced working with large machinery in an industrial yard setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform welding, fabrication, and repair work on dumpsters and heavy equipment such as shredders, cranes, shear cranes, balers, and excavators
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance on mechanical and structural components
• Work safely and efficiently in outdoor and industrial environments
• Communicate and coordinate repairs with maintenance and operations teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of welding and equipment repair experience, preferably in heavy industry or scrap metal
• Ability to work independently
• Strong understanding of safety practices and industrial repair standards

Schedule

Typical Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm and Sat 8:00am-12:00pm (and as needed when equipment is down after hours)
