McNICHOLS CO. in Lenexa, KS seeks a welding technician to join our safety‑conscious production team. You will weld steel, stainless and aluminum, read simple measurements, and support shipments by preparing and crating finished products.

The role involves operating power tools, following detailed instructions, and contributing to a culture of quality. We offer training, skill‑based pay, and strong opportunities for career growth in a nationwide distributor.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of welding experience or comparable technical training required.
• Must be able to setup welding machine and pass welding test for horizontal and vertical (2F/3F) weld on ¼” thick metal.
• Ability to read and understand precise measurements.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions and maintain high quality standards.
• Must be self-motivated to provide quality products and service for our customers.
• Must be able to communicate and work well as a team member.
